So for the past few months, I’ve been planning to move back to Finland at the end of July. This, of course, has solidified in my mind the idea that this summer will be incredibly short (I somehow can’t shake the feeling that it is, in fact, already over) and that winter will be coming soon. And not some namby pamby British winter, but a pimp stylin’ Finnish winter. Which means, then, that when I headed out to the Green Festival yesterday, it was just about guaranteed that I would make a thoroughly needful purchase when I walked by the handmade winter hats.
Afterall, it both keeps me warm and leads to my professional look:
I’ve since decided that my move will take place next year instead, which makes this hat slightly less necessar–oh, who am I kidding? This is the best thing I’ve bought in ages. I’ll be wearing it every day that is even a degree below 80.
Also, today I discovered that my book is on the move and I’m all official-like. The UK can pre-order me and the US can get notification when the book is ready:
All in all, then, a good day.
